Actually, since pokemon is an originally japanese franchise, there is a good chance it would be produced there. And japanese movies generally have truly horrid effects.

At least it'd be funny to point out how horrid they'd be.

    Granny:"When I say run...you run! got that?"

Fone Bone: "WHAT?! That's your plan? run where?"

    Granny: "Ready? Here we go!"
*punches through wall, grabbing a rat creature*
    "OKAY, KIDS! RUN!"

I wish I had a grandmother who was that badass.

    yarr.

The genre shift from comedy to epic adventure around the middle felt kinda odd while reading though. Totally worth it once I finished the story.

I can't say I like Aziz Ansari. During the promotional period for his stand up special all I'd ever hear was "FAT BROWN AND ON THE GROUND" during every friggin' commercial break. The actual setup for the joke wasn't even that funny either.

Yes. Only thing they did was set themselves to invurnerable, I think.

Okay, that makes it so much more awesome. When I saw the Brute Shot-jump to the top of the desert tower I was a bit skeptical of whether or not it was default settings. It also makes me wonder which of these one could pull off without invulerability.

Doubt they could without it. And if you look closely, they shoot every shot at a slightly higher angle each time, mkaing him go higher. That's so epix. ^^
