    Our library is a tad smaller, but they're adding some underground stuff. Also, in good Dutch tradition, it is built upon an artificial island.

    My college library isn't much to look at, but it's impressive nonetheless.

    Sizewise, it's 495,358 square feet. Half a million feet. It has 61.45 miles of shelving installed.

    Content, they have just under three million books, 250,000+ maps, 30,000 films, 5.7 million digital slides, 32,000 periodicals/serials.

    All in all, their database has 6,334,465 records.

    That puts the Library of Congress to shame.
