What name would be better then? Doppleganger? Poltergeist? Or keep the Norse theme and call it something like Loki?

 

Lol. Almost all the Terran unit names are some kind of animal though.

 

You sure about that? The Cobra is out, and it was the only one with an animal name as far as I know.

 

Marine, Thor, Viking, Banshee, Tank, Cobra (out), Predator (out), Firebat (out), BAttle Cruiser, Nomad, SCV, Medic, Marauder.

About the name, I think it should be something that has somethig to do with Fusion (grammar screwed).

Yeah thats a good idea!
I dont think the eagle in some ways suits the Terran.
The idea of building a "unit" inside an other "unit" seems Protoss (scarab, interspetor etc.).
I would more like it to be build in the Starport, costing 150 min and 100 gas (+/-). It will have a fast to medium attack, fast move-speed. Then you can fusion 2 togehter, giving the new unit, double damage, same attack speed, medium move-speed and splash. The unit can fusion out again.
Then you will have to choose between a fast and one with splash.

 

Okay, I'm glad you backed up your opinion this time. If you want those things, then have a look at the Raptor.

Defensive Matrix, is kinda a psi shield, though not exactly "psi" though it is a form of protection

 

Sounds a bit too complicated for me. Although I do like the idea of the nomad building tiny support fighters...but I guess that'd be too much like interceptors.
