He might change it since he hasn't actually gone on yet. Then again he might not.

There's 4 for front lines and 4 for spec ops.

    Hmm...
    Front lines

*flips a coin and saw that it was heads* flipping a coin is a result of trying to pick between two different choices, heads to me is always the first option that became available, tails is the other option, and since the coin flip came with heads and that the ' front lines ' option was available for longer than Special Ops, do to the fact that you were at the front lines before this choice.

The coin flip decided for me to pick front lines.

Noo, I want Special ops. Why frontlines?

Being in the Special ops had much more to offer.

like jamming forks into people's hands, i've always wanted to do that. However, frontline warfare is a lot more fun, i choose frontlines.

Your decision made, you stand up, straighten your uniform, and walk out your door. You hail the nearest transport and go to the address specified. A tall, but nondescript red brick building is your eventual destination. You knock on the door. A little door snaps open and hard black eyes stare out at you.

"Wer bist Sie? Welches bist Sie tuend hier? Who are you? What are you doing here?"

In response, you hold the card up to the man. As you do so, the blood drains from his face, and he mutters out an apology as he hastily unlocks the door. Not looking you in the eye, he informs you that your host is upstairs and in the third room on the left. Thanking the noticeably shaken man, you mount the stairs and enter the room.

Mallard sits in a chair, his back towards you. Snapping to attention, though you're not sure why, you announce yourself.

"Ahhhh, Herr Aldridge. So good of you to come. I trust you have come to a decision? Please, do tell."

With a odd sense of reluctance, you inform him that you have decided to wage the war in conventional means. It's obvious that your answer angers him. Though his expression doesn't change, the air suddenly seems charged, as if precipitating sudden violence. As the black clothed man stares at you, you break out in a cold sweat. After what seems like an eternity in Hölle, Mallard nods.

"If that is your decision, I have no choice but to honor it. Return to your guns and bombs Herr Aldridge, there is nothing further to discuss."

Trying not to seem hurried, but moving quickly, you make your goodbye's and leave the cursed building. By the time you return to your room in the officer's quarters, night has fallen. Stripping out of your uniform, you shiver as the cold night sets in. Rolling into bed you drop into sleep.

Some time later, you are awakened by a loud thump. Confused, you climb out of bed. As you adjust to the darkness, you check your pistol. Fully loaded and clean as a whistle. Perhaps the day's events have you on edge, but you can't shake that dark feeling. Padding quietly across your room and poke your head out the door.

    Into a morgue.

All the lights have either been broken or shut down, but as far as you can see by the light of the moon, bodies are strewn on the floor, blood pooling on the floor or soaking into carpets. It's obvious that whatever killed them is quiet, but a ruthless and efficient killer.

Do you hide in your room and hope whatever killed them misses you? Do you sneak out and attempt to hunt down this mysterious assailant? Or do you grab the nearest rifle and go out guns blazing and heaven help anything moving?

[Any German speakers out there, let me know if I SUCK at it. I'm not horribly fluent in German, and can't remember a lot of the proper ways to say things, so I'm running most of the German phrases through a online translator. Send me a PM or leave a Visitor Message letting me know]

To be updated tomorrow. Sorry guys, work has been hell lately. I'm basically running the store and I'm not trained for it.

i say sneak out, and Fenix wasn't writing the german too bad. After all, he's getting from online translators, which aren't that reliable sometimes.
