Decent mobile wallpapers for free: http://m.zedge.net

Even Starcraft themed ones. Using a funny Mario mushroom at the moment. Site was recommended by Opera, so I guess it's ok.

Which leaves me with the following question:

If what you said is completely unrelated to me, why did you quote me?

Kuvasz, aside from the one given by Maelstorm, haven't you thought of I dunno, eye candy? Like why you have a wallpaper depicting a game character/scene/whatever? Or do you think that someone has a wallpaper depicting a space marine because they feel weak and insecure?

Also, we're talking about wallpaper for personal computer, right? The same that no one under any circumstence should touch or even look at? I'd understand it better if it was about a shirt or something that everyone is supposed to see*, but how the hell does having a wallpaper with nude woman have anything to do with trying to boost manliness I don't know.
Hell, it's as if you watched porn when you're home alone just to make sure you aren't gay, wtf

*I suppose phones pics would count as one of those depends what you do with it.

I was on about traditional wallpapers. And what do you mean by
"The same that no one under any circumstence should touch or even look at?"
Are you serious? As if computers at a workplace weren't good enough examples, why can't anyone look at your wallpaper under any circumstance on, say, your home computer or phone? That's like having pictures of your children in your wallet - they're there for you obviously, but nobody would say "no other person should look at them".

As for the eye candy thing. It's simply not decent to set such a wallpaper for something that others can see, in my and others' opinion (though clearly our views differ in how private desktops are, it seems). To be honest if I saw such a wallpaper on a phone or PC I'd assume the owner is a nymphomaniac, a pervert, or the third possibility that I've already alluded to. I will not pull the "if you have a girlfriend you shouldn't need pictures" card, I'll reserve that for later :D but I do think that such pictures not only reflect on the owner, but also disregard everyone else around the person. I belive in self-expression and I do think it's more important than what others think, but there is a line.

@Mael: You reminded me of said people, so I posted my opinion about them. But if it's such a big deal I will only quote you if I want something to post strictly about what you did. But I still don't get how you could take that personal from a complete stranger on an online forum.

Computer at a workplace is an entirely different thing than personal dektop. Such person should first of all get reprimanded/punished by his superiors, especially if it's a place that people from outside the company can see or an open office with other coworkers passing thorough.

Then again, I've seen actual wallpapers hanging in worplaces and I don't think any of the employees looking at them was a pervert just for letting it be there. As I've said, it's an eye-candy, something nice to look at while working. Same as having a radio on.

It might've been a bigger deal some years back, but now? You can see half-naked women about anywhere, including billboards on my way to school (horrible taste, lack of an idea for an ad and obviously having nothing to do with what was being advertised blahblahblah)

@vasz : Lol, I didn't take it personally, at all. It's just the way you made your comment, right after my quote, was.. unexpected. But If you didnt mean nothing by it then no problem.

Umm I mean 500 dollars a MONTH. We measure them in months here.
We don't get paid by the hour like you guys. So we can.. skip.. a few days by calling in sick and such and we get payed the same. Awesomez :D
So yearly salary would be .. something like 6.5.. 7.000 dollars.
I used to work in a callcenter.. customer care. Not the best of jobs but It was only 7 hours a day / 5 days a week, and the work environment was good. Lots of good people. Made lots of friends and... dates.
