    Warcraft 3 custom maps

I play a lot of warcraft 3 custom maps, but normally not rpg's. Then today, I decided to join this game, together with 5 strangers, and played my best game of warcraft 3 ever. Best map Ive ever seen. Wins against DOTA etc. etc. Its just fantastic, not even a true rpg, more of a kind of quest.

Each person picks one "hero" (9 to choose from I think), I decided to be the cleric. Really great fun, we even managed to win the game after like 2-3 hours I think. I wont reveal the epic end :p

Try it out with some mates seriously! Best custom map EVAR!

its not the best map ever....

CloudWolf's Diablo 3 map has a better terrain
Obsidian Depths (seems) to have a better gameplay
    it is not open scource
and it takes too long and has a hard learning curve for new players who can not read and so its not good for battle.net games

but anyway, good you like it

    btw: its called 'Jarahcon'

Hard learning curve? Only if you have never played these kind of games before.
    "better terrain"
    "better gameplay"

You see what's great about this one? It has both! I dont care for playinf a map that only looks good, or that only plays good.

And the last thing: DOTA isn't open source either is it?

But you might be right that battle.net idiots are too stupid to play this game.

Maybe I should reinstall wc3 and try this some time.

The best ORPG map(s) I've played was Ragos series, which I highly recommend. It's not storyline based, more like WoW with mostly instances. Some of the features include:
    -Scripted boss fights
-Balanced classess each with few different 'builds' you can specialize in
-Several maps where you can load your character including pvp map(s? not sure if there were more)
-Challange. There's only 10 levels, so you can't just grind until you can beat the boss, you need to know what you're doing and be able to fight in team

    Sorry for hijack :D
