I did play C&C 3 in the past, It was quite fun to mass Tank and Walker lol

back on topic. I mean SC is about micro, yes, but first it's about how to chose a good strategies and then chose a good unit mix to win the game. I just don't want to have a starcraft focused only on how you harrasse of defend again harrasse

If they focus on harassing you'll have a better assult army and own them.
We have told you many ways to counter it, and still you're not happy?

IMO hes just a typical WOW and WC3 player... Starcraft is atleast ½micro ½macro, if not even more micro on higher level. But if you dont like the way it is turning out know, then just play an other game like RA 3.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet. Why don't the workers have something to counter the harassments.

Scv will be able to jump on cliffs, or Hover over water. Although this ability needs time to recover, you can only do it 3 times in a row.

Drones are able to dig under ground, (And move around) but after a period of time they are forced to come up, this also depends which kind of Terrain.

Probes' hyper speed able to boost really fast for a short time period, after that the ability/spell needs time to recover/regenerate (This goes with all worker's abilities).

Rex i dont like those idea´s... why should you invest extra resurses (lore-wise), to equip your workers with all those abbilities?
And IMO there arent to many worker-harassing units, the reaver is out so no more reaver-harass, and that was the most effective harass in the game IMO.
And in SC1 drones could already burrow, but how the hell should they be able to move underground, why cant zerglings then move underground?

The ideas arn't that thought thru gameplay or lore wise but I see where you are coming from. But in this game we use Defensive strctures and units to defend. Blizzard said them selfs they don't wanna include too many flashy abilities and they are lessening some.

the fact that there are more units to attack builders, means you just must play stronger, defensively and offensively if the enemy continues to harass, trick them into security then wipe them out!

I'm just trying to say in SC1 we build AA to have a good (but not perfect) protection against drop, but now with cliff climbers, we have 2 choices

1- build AG and AA around your base, but it cost $$$ and you have a smaller main army
2-don't build defense , focus on your main army but only one successful rush could be fatal

Better harassers means that turtling at base while "gaying" your opponant is more feasible. IMO this takes some of the fun away form the game (sure you can say it's skill) at least in w3. Good thing is that defensive buildings in starcraft are a LOT easier to overcome...
though a banshee + tank sitter would be scary, a banshee + tank push would be scarier.

worker harass means you have to play it smart when defending your base, i think in sc2 you will no longer be able to just hold the entrance and a few air towers to guard from a drop.

Your defenses need to be around your main base

I think this will lead to greater defense near your peon line, making for an interesting game but maybe leading to more turtling

to me starcraft 2 is starting to sound more like command and conquer instead witch is alright but if you compare it to starcraft than they seem to just keep getting further apart, dont get me wrong the new units are great and everything but the strategy and game play is starting to feel like older strategy games instead of something new

You can't forget that Blizzard is throwing in units that can crush bases, although the Terran didn't need much help when they're farting out nukes and Siege Tanks like it's going to bring the second coming of J. Christ.
