It's obvious it's not done, as you can see the hydralisk death basically means that they turn into a red puddle that evaporates 1 second after.. no corpse no husk no nothing.

I liked the old hydralisk projectiles in that they were invisible..and all you can see AFTER the needle has been fired is the trailing slime mid air.

The change speed is good as it is. At this speed you don't have to wait long for the image you're waiting for. If the change took longer, if you just missed the image you wanted or something, then you'd have to wait much longer for it to come around again.

When a unit dies from a Swarm Guardian's regular (and only) attack, one or two (it is not random, I just don't know :D) Broodlings will spawn at the corpse/wreck.

I wonder if the broodlings will spawn from all units, or just from tanks and organics. IMO it would be dumb if broodlings were made from archons or the like.

I'm pretty sure the Broodling rules will come from SC1.

It wouldn't be dumb. I think the way it work should work is the swarm guardian shoots out broodlings at units. Every attack it does, a broodling is spawned onto the unit, and takes continuous damage (like plague). When the unit dies, the broodlings pop off and attach onto other units. Of course this can be balanced out by the cost of the guardian, the continuous damage, the damage of the guardians attack, etc.

Any visuals of the rumored Succubus or is that unit officially scrapped? Swarm guardians are scourge dropped by dead overlords. A concept from the original SC that wasn't implemented. It'd be cool if it was an upgrade. It'd be like grenades in Call of Duty.
