That is how they got the super diclonis girl in elfen lied to cooperate with them. They just had a bunch of explosives in her body.

    REPENT
    THE END IS NIGH

Rule 1: Don't make killing machines, they don't know mercy and restraint
rule 2: Don't enslave the robost, they will rise up, and they don't know about mercy and restraint.

"Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a man's mind."
    -OC Bible from Dune

Fortunately all physical modifications to the robot are performed by the humans who create and maintain it. Also, it doesn't understand esoteric concepts like "power" or "obedience." The programmers give the robot goals and it tries repeatedly to reach the goal until it finds something that works.

I was reminded of this screensaver: http://www.spiderland.org/screensaver
Basically there are 25 block-creatures per generation whose objective is to move as far as possible. Those who move the farthest contribute more to the "gene" pool and their traits are passed on.

so you're basicly saying that if the robots somehow escape and start killing or enslaving people,
they'll put that info in the new robots the slaves would make and daam were screwd!.
what we have to do is disarm all teh nukes, take all the metal we can get and go to europe.
i dont think robots would make wood rafts to get across.
plus we'd have to destroy all the cities so they cant scavange for metal or anything else.
BTW if they were to do something dangerous, i doubt they'd put it on the internet, i can't believe they'd put this on the internet.

good luck and may god be with you

A nice and objective article there... Nope, can't find anything wrong with it at all.

Haha, I swear that's practically a line straight out of T2. Something about Connor asking why the Terminator doesn't just make itself into a bomb or giant gun, and Schwarz-face explaining that they make use of mechanical and chemical parts. Ah, good times.

Continuing this really uninteresting tangent, I seriously hated the Terminator in T2. I mean, I've seen things in movie that make no sense before, but after all the effort they put in making the first as plot hole proof as possible, they really blew it in the second with that Terminator.

The third Terminator was good, and incorporated the liquid metal thought nicely, but it also had a fairly major plot hole in that she succeeded in destroying one of her primary targets.

Here is there official website: http://www.cyberdyne.jp/english/

Why make a robot that looks like a human?
Why not make a robot with no weaknesses (2 +LEGS!)?

Yes let's make a robot with no weakness, then let's give it a gun and tell it how to kill. Sound perfectly safe it me.

I prefer death by asteroid, it would be many times more epic.

Maybe that'd work, but think more terminator like. I don't remember them ever using EMP so maybe it won't work.

Remember kids, always put the sensitive circuitry of your deathbot inside of a faraday cage.
