This thread may be popular, but it's complete nonsense. I'd change your sig if I were you. It's not funny, not at all true and you've demonstrated that you don't even really know your facts. You've basically just labelled all those people as being stupid all because they chose to take part in your thread.

Pure blood is blue. Blood plus oxygen is red.

 

It is not, ever had blood extracted from your veins? It gets pulled into an oxygenless tube. Guess what color it is? A dark red.

Blood is brighter red when exposed to oxygen sure, but still red when no oxygen is present.

 

Just because you've gotten blood from your veins, put it in an oxygenless tube and seen it's still red doesn't mean pure blood is red. Blood from veins is still red, meaning it still has oxygen in it, because the oxygen is what makes it red.

Your blood is never gonna be in a vacuum anyway, unless you throw a person out in space, or put some blood in an air tight chamber and suck the air out of it, in which case, it would boil.

 

Now you're just picking straws. The colour of completely deoxygenated blood is a bluey purple. Whether you call that blue or whether you call that purple just depends on where you draw the line.

Also, who cares about whether your blood will be in a vacuum or not? The point is that pure blood is blue. Also, the fact that it would boil doesn't change its colour.

i stated that i bleed rainbows, that includes red blue and purple so im currently in the middle ground.
