    Even if it's their only choice it shouldn't be OP'd either. it should be balanced as well.

    With the same logic of Roach beeing OP so is the maurader..
    Roach is fine.. it's just that you are all zerg haters :p

    So you're saying "I'm glad it's OP'd and that's my reason why it's ok to be OP'd".
    Not much of a reason if you ask me. Evolved sure that fair enough. But still has to be balanced.

    *EDIT* I'm no Zerg hater, ask 10-Neon, I think Zerg is my better race. I do see a problem with the Roach though. It is VERY good at what it does....any light unit is just going to die. I am not saying they are OP by being too strong or something, but come out a little to early. Without any gas, you can get that extractor so much later.

    I think one of thing, could be repaired is: When any terran unit is repaired by SCV, it should goes lower, near the ground, becouse now SCV is welding air under air-ship. It looks silly :)

    its been like that since the first game, and please stick to actual unit and upgrade changes.

    I agree the SCV repairing animation could be tweaked a little.

    Give an example of how, without it changing gameplay. If the air unit hovers down to the SCV readability is hurt, since a unit that now is as low, or lower than the roof of a command center still is considered an air unit. Imagine vikings shooting down at a battlecruiser being repaired, as if they were banshees...

    The unit would have to land, then while being repaired it's readted as a ground unit as it is on the ground, then it would take off repaired again. That's one idea. The 2nd idea is over love above the SCV which as you stated above not so good for a few technical reasons.

    Do both of these ideas fit the balance of SC2? I don't think they do to be honest. But does the SCV repairing animation still need a fixing tweak? Most definantly Yes. And I'll leave it up to Blizzard to make the fix be balanced.

    Correct me if I'm wrong. But from what I've read only the Zerg can mind control an enemy unit. And that I really don't like. I think it should have been kept a Protoss thing as t was in SC1. That I really think is wrong, imbalanced and needs fixing. Lore wise too.

    One think that confuses me as a Terran player is building and AddOns. When you select your barracks(es?) and you have different addons on, then you need to TAB (I think) between those with TechLab, Reactor and No Addons Barracks. Can't I just select them all and when I press D (Marauder) it should make barrakcs with TechLab build them and when I press A (Marine) it goes to the one with a Reactor and/or barracks with TechLab if it's not building a Marauder/Reaper?

    Nope, you have to select the different Barracks types separately. Annoying but true.

    :D

    P.S. - I don't think the Roach is OP at all. I think it's a great unit where it is. And is it necessarily a bad thing that a Zerg player is most likely going to have to build that unit at some point? Terran has to build Marines.... Protoss has to build Stalkers...

    here is something I think needs fixing.

    At the moment SC2 is turning out to be a scissors paper rock game. As what units you have in the field is more important than how you use what units you have. And I think that's so wrong. Hard counters are nice. But I so would like SC2 to be about how you use units and not just luck/skill in making the right units to counter what the enemy is making.

    That is one thing that makes me think to switch to Zerg or Protoss. Being a Zerg you just have to deal with Hatcheries (correct me if I'm wrong) for units. Group all your hatcheries and Queens together and you're set. For Terran... Boy.... we have zilions of different structures for units..

    Barracks
    Barracks + Reactor
    Barracks + TechLab

    Factory
    Factory + Reactor
    Factory + TechLab

    StarPort
    StarPort + Reactor
    StartPort + TechLab


    ...and of course the Command Center.

    That's a lot of hotkeys. :wacko:
