what does a dragoon/immortal do all day

I don't KNOW it, I'm simply using my extra-SC knowledge of said other theocratic warrior cultures. There's quite a few parallels. All the races do.

 

well why would a protos need arms they don't eat talk or do any thing else with their arms but maybe give a spank on the butt to another zealot when they just killed 12 lings single handedly.

When a tos made a choice to become a dragoon they devoted the rest of their lives to the military. I don't know what the goons did because their was a good supply of them and the tos could always make more (not to mention the tos aren't always at war.... just most of the time). The immortals though I believe are goons that got an upgrade because it is either impossible to make new ones of them or very difficult. So that means their aren't that many and they will probably always be in a combat situation.

 

I believe the answer is that they did exploring much like most of the Protoss Warriors did/do. I say this because most Dragoons were outcast in their societies. The Dragoon itself is a very weakened vessel that is only moved by the Khala that a Protoss Warrior held. So, much like mailman they go through rain, sleet, and dark of night exploring. Or at least thats what I believe.

 

One question I have is what is that spinny thingy underneath the Dragoon?

And maybe they really were used as scouts, like the one in the cinematic. Or...it was just injured.

In-game the "spiny thing" on the underside of the dragoon seems to unfold during attack sequences, like an extra pair of legs to brace before firing. Perhaps those legs are part of a smaller walker to allow the injured Protoss a bit more mobility during non-war times.

What do they do all day? They sit in their shells.

What have they been doing? Been in stasis while being transferred into upgraded Immortal Shells. Dragoons no longer exist.

maybe, because they are injured zealots, they go into like sum hibernation mode, untill the call for battle kicks in and they are injected with like a psi morophine?
