What the hell is wrong with America

What stupid examples. THESE ARE ALL THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES well done, go compare yourself with them, because if it is so, you really are just as bad as you show them. You dont deserve to be called a first world country because you -do- have an incredible amount of racism, murders, neoliberal stupidity and so on. Your country is nothing but barbarity. Yugoslavia was once a great communist country without any racism and economic developent, but right when your free market came, all of this came with it, and the country has become incredibly poor. You're exploiting third world countries, so why are they so ''barbaric'', might you think? You make their life hell. Why is their country so, you think, are you a freaking racist?? ''oh look at them stupid barbaric inferior africans and yugoslavs''. And what was the comment about Israel? Israel is your imperialist puppet state, just look at what they are doing to Palestinians in Gaza, it should be called genocide.

 

@BoP: look at jails here and then tell me again that we don't have people going out just to kill other people.

 

Look at the other side of things, don't be so pessimistic.

We have some of the most charitable organizations on Earth. We are home to the greatest cultural diversity you can find anywhere. And, for the most part, they interact better here than anywhere else.

Sure, America has some screwed up things. But ever hear the phrase 'bad news makes good news'? Great things happen every day. But they're not reported on. Why? There's no controversy over someone mowing a neighbor's lawn, no inflammatory edges when someone pays for the next guy's meal.

Does that mean we should impose our why of life on other people? That we should police the world? Just because it works for us. And I don't know about you, but where I'm from, people of other cultural backgrounds don't get along very well anyway.

 

here here. i've seen fights in the halls before, anger, arguing, people insulting one another. sure, a lot of good things happen here that are never reported. but that doesn't change a lot of the things that happen here. we have the most people in jail, the highest percentage of criminals according to our population (they average it percentage from overall people so having more #s of criminal means nothing, depends on overall people) and a hell of a lot of govt orruption

 

Of course numbers don't mean nothing. If there are one million criminals, with a population of ten million, vs ten thousand criminals with a population of twenty thousand, you have one hell of a chance of being a victim in the smaller city.

 

so you categorise all americans as arrogant, yet somehow think you should be left out of that judgement?


It does seem like America has a large amount of racists, probably due to the slavery. Murders happen everywhere, i wouldn't say that USA is any worse of in that area.

america no offense us but we got some issues. We waste the most power and resources out of the whole world.(including china) eventho we dont have hardly as many ppl. We need to shape up before america becomes a dessert

 

i know, the Us is full of holes. our economy is tumbling down atm, all this racism going on. people are being laid off, losing houses. and then, even the companies are losing money because we're unable to be making more. people aren't buying as much because their low wages and expenses left, so businesses are suffering. Especially airports and advertising because people are driving because planes are so expensive. they're also not buying, so companies have to lay off their ads since not as much money is coming in to pay for them.

i didn't like obama because i didn't trust him. but hopefully he can get us out of this mess.
