The funny thing is your economy is so liberal and all, but when there's trouble the government starts pumping money in to help the weaker companies

I've met a few, mostly online. But in real life, there are other annoying things they do. My family likes to slightly press on cantaloupes to see if they are over ripe (if over ripe, they would be too soft), I thought it was pretty common sense. Then some random lady comes over, watches my auntie find a good cantaloupe and says "quit ruining the melons you chink!"

    -_-

    That's cause you're overly violent.

I would've handled the matter in a way that wouldn't perpetuate stereotypes.

Because its pretty clear that in every case, capitalism cannot survive without the government supporting it =P Anyhow, it is a black hole which will just deepen the crisis and my people will make a killing outta it.

    @ Hodl

    Wow...Thats just sick

our economy is in the tube because like 90% of the **** we buy is from someplace else maybe if we started making our own **** 1 thatd make more jobs for us 2 with more jobs and making our own products we could go by the products we are making thus keeping the money flowing in OUR country not back across the world to everyone else

Dude...England's not the best example. Racism is just as rampant there. Except more towards Jews. Anti-Semitism is still a problem in Europe. Blacks are also acted against in Europe as well. Croatia got fined a couple months ago for having racist chants against Sean Wright-Philips in the World Cup qualifier of England/Croatia. The problem that many "enlightened" have is that they see Europe as the great shining example of everything that is on this green earth. Norway's capital Oslo is also considered the OD capital of Europe.

All places have their problems. Don't think that just because you leave America you will leave those problems.

I think major willy was right in the first of his deleted posts, this thread is likely to be locked soon enough. *Waits for GM's comment about communism's superiority* Ok now that the foregone conclusion is out of the way GM you don't really know a damn thing about most of what you're talking about, I have seen several thoughout posts throughout this forum on the topic of communsim (and it's economic sub-section socialism) and not once have you or anyone provided anywhere close to a decent response, which says a lot about the thin ice your standing on when you believe any sort of extreme outlook will prevail.

As for the general referendum on the U.S. that is going on throughout this threed, my response would be simply this, The U.S. has its problems and anyone can see that. But I seriously doubt you could show me a country that is better than the U.S. in every aspect. I would be surprised if anyone could even come up with more than handful that, on average, are only really equal to the U.S.

On a final note, I find it very amusing how everyone is saying the average U.S. citizen is arrogant. Because to call someone arrogant generally implies you believe yourself not to be, which is by definition arrogant.

Lol I´m not even north american.
I´m actually brazillian (although I lived in Minnesota for 1 year).
My opinion isn´t arrogant. It´s a fact. And even though I´m not good at geography and do not travel much, I realize the USA are not the most civilized country in the world. I just said we can call it above average.
If I´m wrong by any means, please state your point kindly, because I can listen to and think about it humbly enough.
Arrogance seems to act disguised sometimes......it´s quite often a hard enemy to battle against.

Don't quote more then you post. The mods will kill you.

You prolly should have just said "@ the first post".

LK, it is not possible to find a country better then this one in every aspect, that would imply a perfect state, which is impossible. They're are bound to be better countries for some people then this one, but for all no.

That was my point dark, my interpretation from alot of people's post in this thread though is that the majority of countries out there are are better than the U.S. in a large number of ways, which is simply inaccurate. The U.S. does have some problems, but so do most other countries out there, find me someone who says a country doesn't have problems and I will show you a person who's view of our world is severely scewed.

However looking back I don't see as many extreme opinion's as I saw on my first read through. I think my opinion of the majority of the posts in this thread was tainted by GM's constant extremely biased posts.

Hahaha, Im not the one standing on thin ice. Im not going to respect talking about my ideology with people who never even read any of its books in the first place and then think they have any idea about things like ''human nature'' (oh yes, a brilliant argument, that). The thing is, you cannot come up with any decent argument against communism. -None- of your posts ever have a decent backbone, even proof to back up your claims. All you go is theorize on your own opinions to try to cover up the fact that you dont know ****. So before you go any further with your ****storm, maybe think a little and try to come up with somethign worth reading?

Because you have obviously read extensively about capitalism and have such a complete understanding of how the world works that nobody is able to challenge your ideas? Well if that were true I would imagine you would have published a paper or book by now proving to the world that communism is the way every nation must lean to enjoy prosperity right? Since the idea communism can obviously be challenged with some degree of legitamacy (hence how most of the prosperous nations of the world are currently capitalistic and even a lot of formerly communistic countries) I am going to assume you do not have a supreme understanding of our world. Actually since all I can really know about you is what you have posted online (and where you live, if I choose to look it up) I am going to give you about the same amount of initial credit I would give a religious nut on the street.

Now with all of that in mind even if I havn't read a single piece of communistic literature (which I think is accurate, but I could be wrong here) it really shouldn't make any difference. If I am so uneducated you should be able to dismantle any of my posts or comments with ease and considering I don't think you have ever addressed one of my posts on this subject until now I am going to assume you have no counter to them. Which bring me back to my earlier statement that most of your posts stand on extremely thin ice and are pretty much only upheld by other members who generally agree with you opinion's despite the lack of supporting evidence.

As for theorizing, that is what most people do when they are unable to test a theory, they sit back with what they know and theorize about the way things interact and possible outcomes of given scenarios. I do find it amusing though that you right now are doing exactly what you negatively accused me of doing and that is theorizing. You have taken what you can know about me and came up with the theory that I don't know jack, when really you know quite a bit less about me than I do of communism. But feel free to keep on debating, I am hoping to inspire you to write something that is semi-interesting to read either about me or communism, it would be an improvement on your average post.
