I am plenty relaxed, I don't generally get mad or angry when debating on the internet. As for me knowing better, what have I done wrong? I have stated my view about the majority of GM's posts and then continued on my original point. I have tried debating with him before, and have gotten ignored pretty much everytime, which does state something about him or his point of view. Anyways, he has chosen not to respond again so I guess this argument is over.

As for the beating, it makes me sad that things like this still happen in America. Not trying to be racist here but, those white people who beat up that black person should really feel what slavery is like. The one thing that makes my position hard is that at my school, most of the black people don't have very good grades and resort to violence most of the time. I even got stalked by one on my way home, he chased me all the way to my house. As for the white people at my school... they are okay...they just insult people a lot.

And Caucasians did taste slavery long ago, Egyptians enslaved people of all races centuries ago.

Also what's weird is, we don't talk about how Jewish people were enslaved by Egyptians. We only talk about white people enslaving blacks. In fact, I think the people enslaved by Egyptians were far worse off than the black slaves. I don't see why we don't talk about Egyptian slaves more than black slaves.

Black slavery was more recent. That's why nobody talks about the Egyptians using slaves.

Even if black slavery was the most recent, what the Egyptians did was was way worse than what whites did. At least white people didn't allow their slaves to overwork to the point of death, at least they fed them some good food. They even let the slaves have some bit of freedom on their plantation or whatever.

...I really doubt the black slaves got any decent food from the Europeans, and I bet a lot were overworked.

I wish there was a way you could reword the way you are saying it, "Blacks and Whites" sound a bit racist the way you are putting it. I'm not meaning to accuse you, it just sounds that way to me. And yes, the slaves the Egyptians kept, were treated so much worse then the slaves kept here a few hundred years ago, though they weren't very well off anyway.

 

No slave is well off being a slave.
