As far as Haven goes, if you side with Dr. Hansen, wouldn't that ultimately lead to the deaths of all the humans living on Haven? She couldn't possibly discover a cure for the Zerg infestation in just a few days time (which is about all it would take for the Zerg to overrun the planet). So, if you agree to do the purification for Selendis, wouldn't that save lives? As for New Folsom, siding with Nova just sounds like a horrible idea. Is she telling the truth about spectres being psychotic nut-jobs?
I actually agree with Nova... Judging the extent Tosh was willing to go for the Terrazine, I wouldn't be surprised if he was already halfway there. For the first, I'll have to go replay it
I admit I was expecting BS from Blizzard with a cure-in-days twist so I sided with Ariel first. And Nova, delined without thinking. The best choice is the one you felt was right on your first play-through. Love the campaign
The thing that gets me is that for the two alternate Haven missions, there are two completely different scenarios. It's as if the story changes dramatically to make sure that you made the right decision. I hated how the Protoss could comfortably commit genocide against humans in the past and even be self-righteous about it, so I sided with Dr. Hansen.
I sided with Tosh not because I agreed with him(he's a total nutjob anyway, plus nova -however right she might be- works for the dominion, and I'd rather not do the dominion's job easier. Political prisoners were in there too anyway, wouldn't wanna have them dead by nuking the place... On the Haven mission, according to my character's experience of never having been any progression towards a cure for infestation and how rapidly infestation spreads, siding with Selendis was the tough-but-right choice... The cure-in-2-days trick blizzard pulled on the opposite side was kinda cheap of a trick like kuvasz said As an addition for Tosh and Nova, I still like nova more than tosh, but she's a tough girl and knows how to take care of herself, so helping tosh and freeing those prisoners while on it seemed like the best idea, despite how sneaky tosh might be
According to Dr. Hansen, Nova lied, and the spectres are no more prone to psychotic episodes than ordinary people. As for the mission on Haven, they're two completely different scenarios. If you side with Dr. Hansen, she could just isolate those that have been infected, and later on, you could take that Zel Naga device to Haven and deinfest everyone.
well i chose Nova 1st because i read the novel and loved her story. besides,i love a tough woman that can kick some a** i played the campaign several times to have all the scenarios and even when i chose tosh,i....don't trust him. maybe i will understand when the book about them comes out
Hmmm... I don't remember that about Nova... Still I liked her more than Tosh cause I found Tosh too creepy anyway, so even if she lied, that doesn't change much... I wasn't really fond of any of them anyway As for using the Xel-Naga artifact to cure those colonists, at that point in the story you didn't know about it anyway(plus we don't really know if the artifact is useable again after char)
Wasn't much of a fan on Hanson anyway, so I killed her I sided with Nova for New Folsom because it reminded me of the doomed StarCraft Ghost.
