I pressed the save button in the top left hand corner, and saved it into the default save location. i think it was documents (i play on a mac).

Saving in documents makes sense. HAve a look in your documents folder. Starcraft 2 saves things there such as saved games...

    Hey guys,

I had the same problem, but for some reason, the install made a regular starcraft II folder and then a seperate Starcraft2.temp folder, If you have 2 folders, delete the .temp one

.temp file appears during installation and normally deletes itself. Should be somewhere like c:\Program Files (86x for 64bit peoples)

Hey guys, I'm having the same issue and this forum seems to be the only place that acknowledges its existence. I tried every possible thing posted here and nothing has worked for me. I also emailed blizzard and got some stock answer about connection issues, which I know is not the problem because I can connect to Battle.net and all my ports for the game are open and I've been able to play and host WC3 and SC games. My connection here is slow, so the only thing I can think of is that maybe Battle.net terminates the connection if it takes too long. . . basically I have no idea, but I'm trying my best to get a solution out of Blizzard.
Should have just downloaded a cracked version. . .

I honestly thought it had something to do with my sub-par system specs, since I haven't seen (personally) a decent/great machine have issues with this. My laptop just can't play SC2.

I think I found a possible solution that isn't posted here for Windows. I've been in contact with a rep form Blizzard who has been really helpful and I'm going to mess around a bit and see if it works. The rep acknowledged that it is likely an issue with the game rather than an issue on our end. I'll post in a bit after I've tried some things. . .
