Which religion are you?

Itza, the way I see it, all religious people determine the boundaries differently. Some would say smoking is a sin while others would say only extreme sports and such are sins. Which then leads me to ask something that's been bugging me for a while now: Does anyone know the true and unquestionable boundaries/laws/rules of their own religion? From my personal experience, the answer is no. But then what's the point of the religion if everyone interprets it differently sometimes to the extent that one would think that two <insert religious affiliation here> are of different beliefs?

 

the thing that makes religions seem funny is that one religion usually says that if you aren't their religion, your going to hell...

I believe that as long as you are a good person and aren't selfish and the like then you have a good chance of getting into heaven

@ Zacron. Read the whole post. I said that most of my mates and relatives are all Atheist, so if I was a Christian, died and went to heaven, then none of them would be there because they're Atheists and wouldn't have gone to heaven.
@ jrc3234. Read the previous two posts. I was asking why Christians don't live risky lives to hasten their ascent into heaven, they cannot suicide because taking their own life is a sin. Meee said that living risky lives is also be a sin because it can lead to an early death. Because smoking increases chance of death, I then determined that smoking was a sin. Therefore and Christian who smokes is a sinner.

I'm Christian, thought about Catholicism, but wound up going with what I understood, and how I was raised

 

I'm a baptist.

 

I am a Catholic.
But I was Forcibly Baptized, so that I could go to catholic school.
I am an atheist by heart.

 

Let say Christianity is true and that happens U won't be GRIEVING bcos u r in HEAVEN.

So you want to believe in a religion, that when you die, god will brainwash you so that you're happy and can't think for yourself?

 

No.But feeling bad in Heaven is even more unlikely.Even if u r talking about suffering bcos of 'existence' in Heaven it could not be that bad.

 

Why is feeling bad in heaven impossible? You're still the same person as you were on Earth, and if that person on Earth would grieve and mourn over the loss of their companions, then they will still grieve and mourn if they were in heaven.
Is it just that people in heaven don't care about all the people that they'll never see again?

 

I think if those kind of religions r true,the heavenly beings r REINCARNATED in heaven,lost all previous memories.

 

So if one of your mates is a Christian and you both go to heaven, you won't know that you're friends? If you and your brother are both Christian and you both go to heaven you won't even know that you're brothers?!
