    Grammar please.

You may decide to call someone differently, but you're not really changing their real name, just their nickname.

I think they call him Adonai now, which is Hebrew for "my Lords". Makes sense, since that's how He's often referred to in english.
Jehovah is from his four letter name (dunno what that is)

And yes, it's just the way they call him, not the actual name that changed

No, it's my lords. The plural is to show respect.
Dunno about english, but in polish using plural for respect used to be common practice

Why is me asking you some simple questions about your beliefs "forcing religion down your throat"? Nowhere in there did I mention religion, god, or my beliefs. Are you really that uncomfortable with your beliefs?

So if I understand you correctly, you believe the universe spontaneously birthed itself?

I don't think so. My faith in God comes from evidence. Saying that "God did it" is an educated guess on my part, not any kind of argument from ignorance.

As of now, it's the obvious conclusion. While there are some problems with it, they will no doubt be answered as science progresses, or the entire model might be discarded.

It's hard to explain but basically i'm saying that mans attempt to give god purpose and a conscience which reflects our own conscience is fundamentally flawed. I don't think its closed minded to believe that one cannot get a clear picture of exactly what we can't see. Open mindedness comes from knowing that there is far too much infomation to ever reach a conclusion. I don't see how christian tendencies stem from that.

I'll edit in studies when i can find them again

You didn't understand my meaning, Allah and Jehovah are connected to islam and christianity respectifully. Notice how i said Jehovah/Allah not Jehova, Allah...Both are the same entity. Those names are just the word for god therefore if someone is talking about various organised religons using the word most people use for their gods seems reasonable to me....

Aedus, respect other people's religions. I will have zero tolerance for anyone attacking each other or mocking each other's beliefs. and you're getting very close to overstepping that boundary. play nice bot of you.

No he didn't, he had atheist.

In Hebrew, vowels are not written down, therefore noone knows how the four letters YHWH are meant to be pronounced.

He's an atheist, he doesn't have a religion. Anyway, I just asked some simple questions. I didn't think they would produce such a reaction. Sorry. :(

Evolution is a scientific theory, most of the people who believe in it are atheists or believe in intelligent design.

    Regardless, it's not a religion.

No, I do not. However, ætheists are still entitled to the same religious rights.

Out of curiosity, what definition of religion do you hold that makes evolution fit that category?

Belief in one or more gods, monotheism=one god, polytheism=many gods, atheism=no gods etc.
