If you want to learn more you have to read the book: "The Power of your Subconscious Mind", It is very interesting. Worth the time and worth the money. I can only say that Dr. Joseph Murphy is a great man who found something very valuable.

No, no, I'm not using it as a misnomer. It was Dr. Joseph Murphy himself, in his book, who called it a scientific prayer.

 

Then he used it as a misnomer. You cannot simply mess around in your head by yourself and then come to a scientifically sound conclusion. That's insane.
That being said obviously neurology has a long way ahead and the link between your mental state and physical health is widely recognized although not completely known yet. I just don't want people to treat one of Murphys unscientific experiments as a scientific fact.

 

He wasn't entirely alone. He used already proved facts about the subconscious mind. For example the powers of suggestions, that the subconscious mind is like a sensitive plate that records everything.

To feed a troll i'd say that classing any nation as godless or not is impossible since every system does not reolve around god , again why US banks are on the verge of collapse...then again they could keep playing with their balance sheets forever as the populous prays and doesn't notice their living standards have halved so maybe your right.

Talking about nations reminds me of Barack Obama. It seems that after his election he failed to go to church about three times. Instead he went to a gym in Chicago. Well, I don't know what the current president really thinks about religion but his actions and excuses are a bit suspicious.

The problem is that he actually claims to be a Christian. Yeah I guess it is normal for people to skip church once in a while but he is the president. Also it seems they are comparing Obama with the presidents before him. And the presidents before him never skip any service.

To my opinion, Barack Obama should openly admit that he is actually not a believer. He respects worshiping, as he said, but simply isn't a worshiper himself. Hell, he is the president. Who the hell needs a god in such a position? Well yeah, if comparing a god with a president, the god is more. But there are people far less than Obama and can live without a god, so he shouldn't be needing one as well.

 

By admitting that you're not a devout Christian you pretty much comit political suicide. Even if he turns out to be an atheist that reads Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens as long as he wants to stay in office of some sort, he won't admit it. You can thank the U.S. general public and their Christian nation delusion.
Personally while I don't really give a damn about anyone religion in a public office (as long as it doesn't intervene with the policies *cough* The whole of Republican party *cough*) from what I've seen he is most likely not an atheist. He is a Christian just not as devout as other people would like him to be.

 

I actually think this says absolutely nothing about his beliefs. Who knows, maybe he just prays alone. Anyway, we are talking about the first three weeks of his administration here, I can imagine him thinking god'd give him a free pass for reforming policy.

 

Barack Obama might as well be called a satanist, same goes to all those presidents before him. America hasn't had a decent president who wasn't a puppet hanging by the strings of the corporate tennis shoe in so long.

 

You realize satanist does not mean bad politician right? Satanism does not have anything to do with being randomly evil nowadays. I think a satanist president would actually be pretty cool.
