Why do SC2 maps lack creativity?

    I mean, Starcraft and Warcraft 3 both had amazing custom maps being pumped through... but SC2, god, all it has is remakes upon remakes of boring crap. Why are all the **** games being "put forward" and all the decent games hidden and inactive? I miss the days where I could play a decent match without waiting 30 minutes.

    To be fair, Nexus Wars is mildly original. I rather enjoy Split TD, but nobody ever plays it ever. You should give it a try with a couple friends.

    Gem TD is the first game I've actually seen that is completely polished and a completely good remake of WC3's version.

    Whatever is actually done right, Gem TD is a concept that can't be denied if done well, and bloody oath it was done well in both WC3 and SC2.

    Original content siezes to exist on SC2 lately, well good original content.
