One Marauder beats one Stalker in a head on fight, and it's even a little cheaper, but the Roach is a different thing. On a one on one, the Roach would win simply because of its high rate of regeneration, but Starcraft battles tend to feature large armies vs. large armies, so in a more natural situation a group of Stalkers could focus fire on the Roaches one at a time. The Roaches would have little damage output since they have a damage bonus vs. biological, while the Stalker has a damage bonus vs. armored (the Roach is armored which suits the Stalker, but the Stalker is mechanical).

So the roach would die against 2-3 stalkers?

That wouldn't be a surprise, if it was that outnumbered. What I am saying is that one Roach beats one Stalker, but 5 Stalkers beats 5 Roaches.

the fact of the matter is when it comes down to abilitys blink is the best of the 3 staple units. When a murauder gets low it has to run away.... a roach can burrow, but the stalker, it blinks several yards away... if there is a detector burrowing does NO GOOD, if you run away with murauders i guess that blink is gonna come in handy when it comes to cat n' mouse. There is no level of the map stalkers cant reach with blink so where r u gonna run? where can u hide (detector in area)? there a 2.5 out of 5 unit when the game starts but once its late game that rating shoots up to 5 out of 5.

Stalkers can't actually blink up cliffs. You need vision of the area you blink to. On the other hand Colossi can see over the edges, and Reapers have the privilege of jetpackin' up anyways.
