Woah, Winter's back

Why can't I ever get any snow? It's been years since I've seen more than 3 inches of snow on the ground at any one time.

Storytime.

I live in a dessert. That means the weather can change real fast. I had to go to the store the other day. Its about 2 miles from my house and I rode my bike there. It was partly cloudy 'bout 70 something F so I left in a t-shirt. I was riding at a moderate pace since there was no time limit on the item I was getting. Halfway to the store it was hailing and 20 degrees colder. I entered the store dripping. By the time I left the rain had pretty much stopped and when I got home it was dry except for the puddles and my clothes

I wish I could have been there.

 

Why?

 

Because I want to see it hail all the sudden ina violent torrent of nature's fury. I think that would be cool.

 

I'm going to Minnesota for Christmas, there will be snow, and there will be awesome. It'll be the first snow I've seen in years. I am going to eat some.

Well yeah, your core temp would drop too low, and that would be bad, but too much of anything is bad.

 

I've willingly eaten actual dirt, with no snow mixed in at all. This will be snow with atmospheic dust mixed in, which is quite different in texture and flavor. I will be fine, and I will heave eaten some snow, which will make me more than fine.
