I finished 28 Weeks Later last night, and I now know I'll be afraid of zombies in real life.

Like... I know it'd be fearful for everyone, but for me...

    Christ. the 28 infected.

Honestly, There's not really much I'd say I'm 'afraid' of.

I absolutely love the feeling of vertigo, so much I'm probably addicted to it (I stand literally on the edge of cliffs every chance I get. Nothing like the Grand Canyon from two inches to the edge)

Arachnids have always fascinated me, I've never really been afraid of them even though I've been bitten quite a bit.

Death. Meh, whatever. It happens, same as life, nothing to be afraid of.

Needles, eh. I don't like them, but if you need to draw my blood, alright (I do request the butterfly though >.>)

I have an adverse effect to blood (ie: I'm flat on the floor at the site of flowing blood. I can't even look at scabs), but I wouldn't say I'm afraid of it.

I think I've sublimated my self-preservation instinct (Where long lived fears spring from). I guess I'm just a loser like that.

Isn't vertigo more the consequence of fearing heights? I get what you mean, but aren't you saying you love the feeling of fear?

    Is that what fear is?

I love the feeling of knowing, with absolute certainty, that if I make one mistake, if I so much as breathe wrong, I'm dead.

    Perhaps we define fear differently?

I define it as a paralyzing sensation that also numbs your ability to make quick rational decisions in face of a great shock or imminent physical danger.

    Sounds like rabies. :p

But I meant isn't vertigo the fear. Not as in, it's the fear of heights itself, but the symptom of fearing heights.

    Oooooh. Like a grammar thing.

Uh. I mean the sensation that the height, or canyon, or whatever is sucking you in, that feeling you you get in the pit of your stomach.

    Bees and wasps.
I've been stung so many times it is rational.

    Also magpies.
Again attacked a few times, some serious bleeding in primary school.
