    I think that this is good, otherwise as I said the small units will become comparatively much more powerful. But in this example there will be no big difference (compared to the original mode) because fully upgraded Siege Tank can kill fully upgraded marine in one shot even without skill points.

    I have played WC3 only once for few hours, so I can't comment that. But if you saying that few extra upgraded units placed among army of not upgraded units will make no difference (and the purpose of this mode is to make the game different) I will say: agree and not agree. Agree if the player do not care for these units and use them as any other. Not agree, because if the player learn how to use them (The easiest way is to groups them to take advantage of their benefits), in this case I definitely think the game will be different.

    Nothing to lose - if someone do not like the gameplay when veterancy mode is ON, then just will turn it OFF and will play the original game. Nothing to lose!

    As (I hope) everyone understands this thread is mostly theory. Whitout real game testing no one (including me) can be sure how this mode will work - good or bad.

    i would understand this for terran but not for protoss and zerg. isnt there a veteran system for terran for single player anyways or has that since been removed?

    I think if would be pretty cool... some units are more valuable. btw, Is there gonna be a kill count in sc2?
