along with that article arose new artworks and one specifically for the infestor.. and what we can see with that, it no longer will appear as that walking blob full of mouth, the artwork definitely made it look like it was a vulgar toxic belcher eh?? It appears that it had evolved into somekind of a slug figure like the nydus worm, this works for me technically...

The terran pushed out with 180 pop of thors, tanks, marines and hellions and zerg had 130pop of drones queens and 5 broodlords and obliterated the terran only losing like 3 queens or so...

We get mineral heavy....we lose larva making ol's, but think of how most the time those big blimps just sit in your base instead of scouting while spreading creep.

I've played this game quite a bit, but I'm stuck at Platinum and my game actually seems to be deteriorating instead of improving! I guess I'm just asking for some help with a good zerg player to tell me what's up. So I have to say that I absolutely hate playing zerg now, and after playing about 1200 games as only zerg that is saying a lot. The main reason? The skill and reaction speed required to beat someone as terran/protoss is ridiculous. Drones cost the exact same as an scv/probe yet we have to waste them to morph a building. This may not seem bad but it is just one more thing you have to micro. So we've got to spread creep, inject larvae, spawn changelings, replace drones, and soon we'll be...

I've been getting squished game in and game out the last two days against all-in one base play on the ladder. It's understandable since many players want to climb the ladder asap, but will Blizzard please release some bigger maps! I'm so sick of this. I don't know what it's like for the other races, but as a zerg player it leaves me playing really boring and uninteresting game. Hey, guys. I could use some help here—I haven't encountered this strategy much, but I'm at a loss as to how to combat it. Mass Zealots and mass Voidrays. Could you give me some tips, strategy wise? I'm thinking that massing mutalisks would have been a much better choice.

(Please, don't say things like, "Spend your money more efficiently." That's something I'm always trying to do, and doesn't really help things much. )

I'm wondering: this can't be purely for larva since internal hatcheries would do the job better, so does this mean that Zerg units are weaker relative to their cost*? Question on Queen Hotkeys

My normal hotkey setup for zerg is hatches on '1', queens on '2', main army on '3', air or infestors on '4', and detection/evo chambers on 9 or 0. Hatch is on 1 since I hotkey to my bases a lot. Queens on 2 since I can inject if they are all on 1 key quickly. Army is 3 since my hand rests near there anyway.

But I'm seeing on pro games and some of my own replays that some zerg players but all their queens on separate hotkey buttons(like 2-4 are using a queen).

What is the advantage...

In the CG they're like 5 times the size of a marine!
But in the actual game, they're these tiny things a few marines could handle easily. Why couldn't they have a more menacing, like ultras, or at least infestors? I know it doesn't affect gameplay in the least, but still... It's so weird seeing campaign CG, then playing.

Here's the replay for anyone who doesn't know what a cheater looks like. Observe the number of times my opponent looks into my base without any scouting. There are countless give aways. Hopefully he gets banned.

To creep or not to creep, that is the question ?

I'm always unsure in a mirror Z vs Z match-up as to whether I should be creeping a highway to the enemy bases or just creep between my hatcheries ?
Obviously creep between my hatcheries is advantageous to me being able to zip between them for defense, but does creep towards my enemy help them more than me ?

I'd like to get some opinions please and some tips on what zergs do in mirror matches inregards to creep.

Hey fellow Zerg rushers! I haven't played SC2 in quite some time. A lot has changed since I last played it. I was heavy into season one when SC2 first came out.. Playing Zerg I was in like Diamond 2v2 3v3 and Plat 1v1 or something (Yeah im bad in 1v1) I Just recently am getting back into SC2 hardcore but I LOST all my build orders.
